Restaurant in the bistronomic trend proposing traditional Mexican recipes in Lyon.
Mexican cuisine is best known for its street food, which is easy to take away and easy to eat. Alebrije, a term used to describe the handcrafted sculptures of Mexican totem animals, is the brainchild of talented chef Carla Kirsch Lopez - who arrived in France 10 years ago, having passed through the Institut Bocuse and top Michelin-starred restaurants - and offers us her personal vision of Mexican gastronomy. In a warm and friendly dining room that has just been redecorated, the chef interprets Mexican recipes in her own way, using local produce whenever possible. Unusual combinations that delight the palate. A fine wine list that is regularly expanded. A table on the rise.
