Restaurant with a large terrace and bistro tables in Lyon.
Anchored in Lyon's culinary heritage and the gourmet landscape of the Croix-Rousse, the Chanteclair has (again) changed hands to Laurent Gerra. This doesn't change anything to the timeless beauty of the place and to the large terrace totally inescapable on the boulevard, even on market days. At the time of our visit, the menu had not really changed. In every season, Lyon tradition and contemporary dishes based on fresh quality products: egg in meurette, beef tataki, followed by a beautiful roasted whole sea bream.

Les prix sont un peu excessifs pour la qualité servie mais le plus catastrophique reste le service. Les serveurs et serveuses sont aimables comme des portes de prison et il faut compter une bonne demi-heure rien que pour pouvoir passer commande...
Décevant par rapport à l'ambiance et aux produits qui était anciennement servis.
Salle agréable, pas bruyante, immeuble ancien en pierres, au cœur du plateau Croix Rousse.
Cuisine maison, service professionnel et sympathique.
Prix très raisonnables. Je recommande
