PAUME DE PAIN
In the bakery, to praise slowness is to ensure that the dough has time to rise and develop all the flavors that will delight our taste buds. Le Pain des Paumes, which recently relocated but remains faithful to the Croix-Rousse district, Sylvain Hanriot-Colin continues to offer us wonderful organic breads made with natural sourdough. Artisan breads that smell like the breads of yesteryear and keep for a long time. Organic breads with natural leavening that take their time to crisp up and melt under our palates. Country, seed, spelt, raisin... for exceptional breads. Viennese pastries, cream brioches and chocolate oatmeal cookies are still a treat.
