Restaurant with a warm decor to enjoy Moroccan cuisine in Lyon.

In this cobbled street in Vieux Lyon, an unusual journey, an address that doesn't cheat and has been delighting us for a long time. Le Touareg is a gourmet institution that takes us to North Africa and the Mediterranean. A warm decor, just like the smiling welcome, made of old stones where tradition and culinary innovation meet. Revisited classics of Moroccan cuisine, with specialties such as pastilla royale, Tangia d'Essaouira, grilled meats and red mullet fillet, not forgetting the unmissable couscous and Touareg tajines. The food was really good! The wine was okay, nothing too fancy. The atmosphere was very good, except from a man that was dressed up to make the athmosphere more “authentic” but it just looked like a western fetish. It was a bit sad to see. Anyways the place was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious, full of flavors and colors. I would go back and I would recommend.
