Restaurant located in a lively neighborhood offering 100% organic, vegan, gluten-free products...
For those - often tourists, but not exclusively - who believe that Vieux Lyon is home to nothing but traffic jams, take a look at Saint-Georges. At the bottom of the curious Montée des Epies, Café Vert sets the tone with its lively, 100% organic, vegan, gluten-free and homemade cuisine. From the small terrace, overlooking the Saône River, you can savor a seasonal menu based on living foods - rich in nutrients - composed of vegetables, fruit, seeds and sprouted cereals. A short menu guarantees freshness, with a carrot in all its forms and a magical chocolate mousse. Wide opening hours at weekends for a gourmet vegan break.

His unprofessionalism reached a peak when, in a public display, he made a scene, showcasing his frustration and disdain for us and other tourists present. It was not only embarrassing but also completely unacceptable for a service-oriented establishment.
The incident tainted our entire dining experience, and I cannot overlook such behavior. As someone who values respectful and courteous service, I would strongly caution against choosing this restaurant if you’re a tourist. It’s disheartening to see such behavior go unchecked, and I hope the management takes steps to address these issues for the sake of their reputation and the comfort of all patrons.
