Restaurant with a superb terrace offering traditional Lyon cuisine in Lyon.

Paying homage to beef, nestled on the corner of Vieux-Lyon's most beautiful square, Le Comptoir du Bœuf offers a picture-postcard terrace and two characterful dining rooms, but above all excellent traditional cuisine, featuring Lyonnais specialties and Charolais meats. The team led by Sébastien Chenu offer a warm welcome at their Comptoir, and chef Marie-Noëlle Brun's home-cooking is based on quality products, starting with a selection of meats, from the house Charolais hamburger with Savoy tomme to the super prime rib for two, including the unmissable "assiette du boucher". Fine local keels. Exceptional value for money and pleasure in the heart of Vieux-Lyon.

Un super restaurant de viande où le boeuf est vraiment mis à l'honneur : qualité de la viande mais aussi de la cuisson .... fantastique. Les entrées et desserts sont fait maison et très frais. La cave excellente , Bravo !
Juste un petit bémol sur les toiles d'araignée sur les appliques murales qui devraient être vite corrigées, à n'en pas douter!

Correct mais sans plus. Menu à 34 euros qui vend du rêve sur le papier mais au final : un fois gras sans âme servi sans toast, un filet de boeuf pas mauvais mais trop cher (supplément de 1,5 euros), des haricots verts pas suffisamment cuits, et pour finir, 1/2 st marcelin qui fait radin… (pourquoi pas un entier vu la taille ?), et toujours avec du pain aux qualités gustatives discutables. Finalement les menus à 24 et 29 euros sont peut-être mieux en rapport qualité prix.
