LA TERRASSE DE L'ANTIQUAILLE
The brilliant Christian Têtedoie, at the head of the site of L'Antiquaille for a few years, has invested the roofs. At the top, and thus in the open air (closed in bad weather), Lyon is always overlooked like the deck of a gourmet vessel. It is beautiful and, let us get straight to the point, it is good. Contemplating Lyon, in the daytime and even more at night, what could be more romantic! It is just splendid and the accuracy of the dishes meets the beauty of the urban landscape, opening to Mont Blanc during the days of great weather. It is not because you are in terrace, that the Meilleur Ouvrier de France does not deliver his best. At €45, an à la plancha catering and a superb menu: Minute salmon, gourmet quinoa, lemon confit and tuile parmesan or a charolais Beef tartare with razor clam, condiments, preserved tomatoes and tuile parmesan to start. Coming up next, Scallops and à la plancha prawns, shellfish emulsion, a roasted Iberian Pluma of Bellota, roasted vegetables and piquillos sauce or a roasted market Fish, cauliflowers, fennel and marine juice. When it comes to the gazpacho of red fruits, sorbet and diamond shortbread cookie, it allows us to retain summer in our mouth. A very beautiful address, flawless even at the service. A gourmet Terrace that you don't find elsewhere.

Our table was in the middle of the pathway for the waitstaff, so we felt like we were in their way during the whole experience. We asked for recommendations and they didn't seem interested in interacting with us. We felt like we weren't an important table to them.
That said the meal was delicious, and the food well executed. Everything was cooked beautifully, it was textbook perfection but didn't make you dream—there was nothing unexpected.
When we brought it to the staff they whisked it away and no one said anything for 15-20 minutes. Luckily I didn’t bite too hard. When the staff member came back she told us it was a feather. It most certainly was not as it was metal. I wished this had been handled differently. We weren’t mad or upset just wanted it addressed so it didn’t happen to anyone else.
Other than that we enjoyed ourselves and the food very much.
