Restaurant proposing a menu offering a succession of pleasures in Lyon.

Each meal on February 14th opens a new episode on the gastronomic cuisine of Japanese chef Tsuyoshi Arai. In Vieux Lyon, the perfect setting for romantic declarations of love and marriage proposals, this is the most "love love" address there is. The Q.E.D. menu changes every month, and even every service, depending on the availability of exceptional products, with a few possible variations, notably around roasted blue lobster or wagyu beef. The same goes for the wine list. Reservations for Valentine's Day should be made well in advance.

A tester..

This starry restaurant on the rue du Bœuf is a true culinary discovery: The menu is in 8 dishes (you don't know anything in advance but when booking you can specify if you don't like a food), you can choose a formula agreement and wine (practical when you don't know what we're going to eat!). From the plateau served for the apererif (not to mention the sausage sausage that is already revisited on the table when you arrive), passing through the mouth and the 8-course parade, all are subtle flavors inspired by the Japanese origins of the chef. A feast for mouth but also for eyes. The staff were very helpful and helpful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is very small (about twenty covered), very sober and table no. 1 (the one we had!) gives directly to the kitchen, which is not great if we want a romantic dinner Attention to booking at least 2 months in advance for this very good address that is a real luxury!

We went pushed by word of mouth. But it is not an effect of fashion. Indeed, it is necessary to be patient to book a table in this small restaurant. But there is no denying that the game is worth it! A real delight and an extraordinary originality. Flavours and tastes are remarkable. We lived a moment of exception. The only downside, we did not grasp the explanations always accompany each by our plates. Despite their great kindness and service, the service occupations don't control French completely. Why not synthetic cards? This small comment does nothing away with pleasure table. Congratulations!
