LES NUITS DE FOURVIÈRE

My performing arts, from music to dance, come together on the open-air stage of the Grand Théâtre romain de Fourvière.
Lyon's best-known and most talked-about festival takes place high above Fourvière, on a grandiose archaeological site. In 1946, the Grand Théâtre Antique (4,400 seats) reopened for a performance of Philip Glass' Beauty and the Beast . Every year since then, the greatest French and international artists have performed on this iconic stage, where the acoustics and ambience are unlike any other in the world. A magical stage under the stars (and the vagaries of the weather...), an astonishing closeness to the artists, for unforgettable Nuits. Over 150 performances for the general public. We advise you to reserve your seats early, as there's no guarantee that you'll be seated.
