The Parc des Hauteurs is a place with charming places for a Sunday stroll with the children in Lyon.
This park is much larger than one might think when many tourists take the Rosary Garden to go down (or up if one is brave) from Fourvière in Vieux Lyon. It is a beautiful walk, steep but naturally shaded with esplanades to rest. Passing by the local "Eiffel Tower", the Loyasse cemetery, you must discover another part of this Parc des Hauteurs, notably the Passerelle des Quatre Vents offering a different view of the basilica. The most daring will ride down the Sarra track on mountain bikes. Charming places for a Sunday stroll with the children or with your lover to take a romantic break on a bench.
