Écrans Mixtes is Lyon's queer film festival, the second largest in France after Paris. A key event in Lyon's cultural life for the past 12 years, it takes place in over 25 locations every year around March 8, International Women's Rights Day. It takes place in a star formation in the city of Lyon and throughout the metropolitan area, in partnership with the city's main cinemas and institutions (Institut Lumière, Goethe-Institut, Théâtre des Célestins, etc.).
