Our article could be in one word: finally. Finally, the district of Monplaisir and the 8 th arrondissement have found a restaurant worthy of this name in this category. After several attempts, the places therefore found their "masters". A young and dynamic team that took over the revenues that worked well at this address: Tuesday of the Gones (child menu offered, animations…), "mussels fishing" at will Wednesday and "flamm'i love you" on Thursday, while changing the map with, as our taste, beautiful sweet hamburgers and generous with good ingredients. Frankly, we cracked for the burger of Monplaisir with his compotée of onions, his bacon, his potato cake and his steak way screwworm, all accompanied by delicious crispy homemade fries like you love them. Very generous plates for all dishes, from the superb hot goat salad in wedding dress to home desserts, by the dishes of mussels and flammekueches. Efficient service on a covered, covered terrace or in a lovely room with light glass and beautiful lighting. Finally an address that gave us pleasure in this beautiful area of Lyon. Smart likes and recommends.

Le cadre est sympa en revanche la cuisine est digne d une cantine scolaire bas de gamme.

Restaurant sympa de quartier.
La terrasse dans la cour intérieure au calme est agréable l'été.
La carte n'est pas hyper original mais la nourriture est bonne.

Nous y sommes allés un soir encouragés par les très bons commentaires relatifs à ce restaurant. Quelle ne fut pas notre déception !
-Nourriture : semble être congelée et réchauffée; sans goût, des algues étaient accrochées aux moules, le dessert était trop sucré.
-Service : à peine assis que nous avions déjà les cartes dans les mains; service expéditif (le dessert fini, la note était déjà posée sur la table), serveurs trop présents, voire dérangeants et pas très aimables
- Prix : différence de prix entre le site internet et la carte du restaurant (+ chers)
En conclusion, rapport qualité/ prix médiocre; nous sommes extrêmement surpris des notes très élevées concernant ce restaurant. Nous n'y retournerons pas!
I have trouble believing commentary on the romainb, I know this restaurant and I find that you can eat very well, me I enjoy me entrance for dessert (especially the desserts because I very gourmet!). The service is very good, and I did not have the impression eat dishes cooked including says zio flo. You are to fall on one very very bad day. But even there, is surprising me!!

I think you should try to go back to check if it is time as you say it!
I am a former employee of Monplaisir In The Courtyard. I have work 6 months there during the end of my recent years training at the Bocuse Institute. I can assure you that the ingredients are not frozen and that they are made on site. I spent a few hours peel apples tarte tatin, onions the flammekueche or mangoes of chutney. The team is experimentee, they are true professionals. It is not the first hotel in which I worked and my experience showed me only Monplaisir In The Courtyard belonged to rare restaurant its category to offer as many fresh produce. I was to restore the real! The whole team strives to the most to satisfy guests. The room and kitchen are very welded, even solidarity and read this type of commentary, that makes me mall for them! They do not deserve it.
