It's impossible to ignore this beautiful house that we've been promoting for years, awarded a star in a red guide for nearly 30 years. A figure that it will probably not reach, because the chef Jean-Christophe Ansanay has not reopened the doors of the famous Auberge de l'île Barbe since the confinement. As much as to say that the star will be extinguished for 2022, but as for the restaurant, we do not know yet what future awaits it. Fantastic setting, exceptional place cradled by the Saône, will a young chef take over the torch of this gastronomic address, a true heritage anchored in the gourmet history of Lyon? We really hope so.
