Restaurant on the heights offering a panoramic view on Lyon and its surroundings in Saint-Cyr-au-Mont-d'Or.

A unique place on the heights of the Monts-d'Or to climb to other gourmet peaks. First, the location. Within the Ermitage hotel, a jewel offering a panoramic view of Lyon and its surroundings, the restaurant's room with its bow-windows happily combines natural luminosity and contemporary lines. Well-laid out tables, and other more unusual ones, to savour the cuisine of chef Yann Orgebin in complete peace of mind. A cuisine composed by seasonal products and original combinations: roasted andouillette bobosse, blood sausage tapenade, rhubarb compote and celery purée or a back of saithe steamed with seaweed, cabbage, kumquat marmalade, green juice and tea emulsion. Like everything else, homemade desserts are surprising and delicious. The terrace opens onto a green setting and you can fully enjoy these moments as a lover or a family. A restaurant "on the heights" in every respect!

Excellent restaurant, peut de table donc peut de monde et de bruit.
Service irréprochable et à l’écoute du client.
Peu de choix à la carte (normal pour un restaurant de cet caste)mais la qualité est largement au rendez-vous.
La vue est tout simplement incroyable.
Je recommande vivement.

Une cuisine goûteuse et raffinée. Les entrées comme toujours restent une belle découverte de saveur. Le plat autrefois moins surprenant a pris toute sa place, saveur au rendez vous. Un dessert léger très judicieux. Un très bon moment dans un joli cadre agrémenté d’un service sympathique et irréprochable. Merci.

We stayed here for 3 nights, there were no room service coming to our room to clean. When we checked out, I’ve asked the reception if there were any room service coming and she said yes… this was not true because we had tea in our room in the first day and the dirty cups stayed there until the check out, they didn’t add any tea or coffee, they didn’t change the towels. Also, when we were trying to go back to the hotel every evening and collect our keys, no receptionist were there and every time we waited for more than 5 mins. Very disappointed and didn’t enjoy the stay.
