If all the villages in France had canteens like this, our beautiful country would be a country of Cocagne. Located by the church of Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or, just a few minutes from the centre of Lyon, in the heart of a peaceful village, this Canteen has settled in a beautiful house of character, where one is greeted by a green island. Light and soft colours, beauty of shapes and materials, the decor of this Canteen, between modernity and classic elegance, is a real enchantment. The finest elements are, to our taste, an exceptional veranda and a wooden terrace with a holiday on the other end of the world. A refined setting and a warm welcome, in an establishment held by a nice couple of authentic catering professionals, White Toque. A couple who put in this superb décor a delicious tradition of tradition, made from excellent fresh products. In all seasons, happiness is assured: a calf's liver bombarded with Sherry vinegar, an excellent house tartar or a beautiful Angus fan for the lovers of exceptional meat. In winter, you can enjoy a cold liver bowl of homemade duck, followed by chicken to the morels. Home praline pie are another marvel, like the fine apple pie in the oven, just caramélisée properly. Large cellar covering several soils. The Canteen of our greedy dreams does exist.

Service et acceuil incroyable mille merci pour cela c était parfait.
Poisson bien cuit , cependant portion un peu petite au niveau des accompagnements. Desserts bons et fait maison .
L’accueil est amical, on se sent de suite adopté comme si l’on venait régulièrement. C’est bien.
Côté plats, la cuisine est élaborée avec de bons produits, pour la plupart de proximité.
Le sauté de veau était goûteux (quoique la viande un peu sèche) mais la présentation aurait mérité un peu plus de soin. Les poissons étaient ok, cuisinés comme à la maison.
Desserts normaux.
À recommander pour le cadre et l’accueil.
