CHÂTEAU DE MANUEL DE LOCATEL
16th century castle overlooking the valleys of the Isère and Arly rivers, with square towers and guard room with painted beams.
This superb castle dates from the 16th century. It was built by Jean-Antoine de Locatel, a noble merchant from Bergamo. It was redesigned over the years and in particular enlarged in the 18th century, and it is now L-shaped, flanked by three square towers. Inside you should not miss its guard room, with its beautifully painted beams. Another particularity of this building is that it proudly dominates the valleys of the Isère and Arly rivers.
