An institute built in 1173, and one of the most important centers of Buddhist study and practice in France.

The Karma Ling Institute is one of the most important centres of Buddhist study and practice in France. It is located in the former Carthusian monastery of Saint-Hugon, built in 1173, in the Bens valley, at an altitude of 800 metres and first occupied by the Carthusian Fathers from the 12th to the 18th century. Seminars, retreats, teachings of great masters but also the practice of training in the Full Presence and Buddhist teachings of Denys Rinpoche.
