Eating and sleeping in a real fort can only be a change of scenery. The Esseillon barrier includes several forts, including Fort Marie-Christine, which is the only one to offer lodging. After having been used as a warehouse and a sheepfold, Fort Marie-Christine now offers simple accommodation and cuisine made from local products. Joyeux Noël !
Arrivés à 2 le jour de Noël à midi par hasard, nous avons été servis et avons eu l'agréable surprise de pouvoir manger un menu sans supplément. Le personnel a été charmant et la cuisine très bonne. Un excellent rapport qualité prix, je recommande chaleureusement !

de passage dans la région que nous voulions découvrir, nous sommes allés déjeuner le 11 juin au fort Mariechristine et avons été agréablement surpris par la qualité du service, l'originalité du site, la composition des différents menus, et les prix pratiqués. Personnellement, j'ai pris le premier menu à moins de 15€ ( entrée+ plat+ dessert ), le 2° menu est à environ 19€, je conseille vivement ce restaurant, il mérite le détour...
This restaurant, we have it d" covered by reading Petit Futé. The guide rai an exceptional site, then we went and we were not disappointed. The idea is excellent: extremely to hold a restaurant in old the napoleonic era. The rooms are housed in the old rooms, there are vaults and small windows in the back. It is an unusual décor. Moreover, the prices are very reasonable: €15.90 For the first menu with entrance (meats or farcement Maurienne), main course (ham cooked in hay sauce or gigolette Beaufort rabbit with red wine) and a dessert to choose from a wide choice which are only has earned it the travel (ah fresh alaska with absinthe and bilberry). There are also Savoyard specialties à la carte including fondues (reserve in advance). This restaurant is worth a visit.

Une excellente cuisine maison de l' entrée au dessert, avec un rapport qualité/prix imbattable.
