The Refuge de la Fédération française des Clubs Alpins et de Montagne, perched at an altitude of 2,350 meters, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Pointe d'Ambin, the Aiguille de la Scolette and the Pointe de Longe Côté. In summer, it is easily reached from the Plan d'Amont parking lot, while in spring, visitors can access the refuge from the ski lifts. Hikers will find a multitude of trails here, ranging from ambitious climbs of 1,500 metres to more accessible routes to the Pointe de l'Échelle.
