Hotel, bar, restaurant: the Grand Fond bears its name well since it is 500 m from the biathlon stadium and the cross-country skiing tracks. In other words, it mainly welcomes sportsmen and women, but not that... Bessans is a paradise resort for lovers of Nordic skiing. The view is incredibly beautiful from this large plateau surrounded by mountains. When you are at the foot of the Vanoise National Park, you are also within easy reach of beautiful hikes in summer. On the restaurant side, you can count on a traditional cuisine.

- petit déjeuner facturé à un prix exagéré (9,50 euros) pour un contenu très médiocre,
- repas supplémentaire facturé à un prix abusif non conforme au prix affiché.
Ce dernier point est inacceptable et montre que les patrons préfèrent "gagner petit" avec des méthodes qui ne trompent les clients qu'une fois. Dommage car l'établissement a des atouts qui sont gâchés par la façon de faire des patrons.
Un conseil : prendre une chambre "brute" (sans petit déjeuner et sans demi pension). Dans ce cas le rapport qualité/prix est tout à fait acceptable.
