Refuge of the FFCAM, the Refuge du Carro is perched at 2 760 m of altitude on its flat, in the wild setting of the Vanoise, between the white lake and the black lake, facing the glacial massif of the Albaron. The panoramas are sublime. To get there, there is nothing like the balcony trail, which is magnificent and easy. It offers an imposing view on the summits and glaciers, the lakes and the mountain pastures... It takes 4 hours from the Ouilletta parking lot and it is worth it! From l'Ecot, the hike is done in 4 hours
