REFUGE ROBERT BLANC
A new trail, less steep, easier to access, has been put in place. From now on, it will be easier to reach the refuge named after the creator of the Les Arcs resort, who disappeared in an avalanche in 1980. Hanging on the rocks, he seems to be watching the surroundings at an altitude of 2,750 m. Some make it a starting point for the Tour du Mont Blanc, others are preparing to climb some beautiful peaks in mountaineering, some will put on their cross-country skis. For others, it could simply be a matter of hiking and then enjoying a pleasant moment of relaxation with a view. An opportunity to meet marmots or to see ibexes on the way up.
