REFUGE DE LA CROIX DU BONHOMME
Refuge of the French Federation of Alpine and Mountain Clubs, the Refuge de la Croix du Bonhomme, located under the pass of the same name, perched at an altitude of 2,443 metres, offers, as is often the case when you take a little height to leave "civilisation", a magnificent panorama. It is a historic passage at the crossroads of Beaufortain, Val-Montjoie and the glacier valley. It is at the crossroads (La Croix du Bonhomme) of the trails of the Tour du Mont-Blanc, the GR5 and the Tour du Beaufortain, south of the Mont Blanc massif, facing the Beaufortain and the Vanoise. The view is very clear, so you can see far away on the Haute-Maurienne and as far as the Chartreuse.
