PROMENADE DE JEAN-JACQUES ROUSSEAU
This is a 6.5 km long walk lasting about 2h30, with a slight difference in altitude of 180 m. The ideal conditions to accept an invitation to dream for a walker, whether or not he is alone, in the footsteps of Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Madame de Warens. It will be a question of starting from the Carré Curial and gradually climbing up to the Charmettes residence, where the philosopher stayed from 1736 to 1742. The walk does not stop there, it will be a question in particular of enjoying the castle of Boigne and its alpine rose garden but also of the view on the old town during the descent of the steps.
