LA CANTINE SAVOYARDE

For nearly 30 years, the Savoyard Canteen has been offering a warm meal to the most disadvantaged, increasing numbers to wait every day for opening doors. People without fixed homes, unemployed people, but also "poor workers" who are no longer able to finish the ends of the month, meet around a balanced and warm meal made by volunteers. If at the start, the first ten meals are free, then the sum of 1,20 euros is required for those who can, others help with household chores. In the evening, meals are free. Sharing, conviviality for the poorest. Donations allow the Savoyard Canteen to live, it also recovers the surpluses from supermarkets and distributors to cook meals.
