Un lieu symbolique de la ville de Chambéry avec son monument et ses quatre éléphants indiens en hommage au général bienfaiteur Benoit de Boigne. C'est superbe, mais il manque un peu de verdure et de bancs pour s'asseoir et profiter de la place. Un bel et ancien hôtel particulier qui reçoit maintenant une agence bancaire et à découvrir sur la place. Son histoire est intéressante.
