THE WATER WORKSHOP

The Atelier de l'Eau in Cognin is a historical, scientific and educational space dedicated to the theme of water and renewable energies. Its interactive scenography will delight visitors of all ages, whether individuals or groups. The site features several exhibition areas, including a miniature water fountain reproducing the "Canal des Usines" that ran through Cognin, a reconstructed oil mill on the first floor and four discovery and experimentation rooms on the second floor. L'Atelier de l'Eau also offers educational tours for schools, with hands-on activities such as water games, canal walks and water fountain experiments. An interactive walk is also available for adults and families to discover the canal and its history.
