ST. MAURICE CHURCH

The village of Feissons-sur-Salins is perched at an altitude of 1,260 metres between Moûtiers and Bozel. And it is here that the church of Saint-Maurice is located, the first mention of which dates back to the 12th century, but which was rebuilt in the 18th century in a Baroque style. This religious building is therefore part of the Baroque Paths® created by the Facim Foundation. Two sundials and an equestrian statue of Saint-Maurice catch the eye even before entering. Once inside, the altarpiece, tabernacle, and a very important collection of relics are among the remarkable elements.
