ÉGLISE SAINT THÉODULE
This church is part of the Fondation Facim's Chemins du baroque®.
In 1679, on the ruins of a 1606 building consumed by fire, the present church was built, succeeding its ancestor. Only the 12th-century bell tower and façade have survived the test of time. A feudal atmosphere pervades the whole, surrounded by a protective wall to the east. The entrance reveals a majestic interior where the choir is embellished by a superb altarpiece under a baldachin, featuring Saint Theodule. The walls are adorned with 19th-century frescoes, and two side altars add to this artistic and spiritual heritage.
