The National Union of Mountain Guides was established in 1946. At this address you will find all the contact information for the guides or guides in particular, by city or department. The guides are holders of a specific state diploma set up by the Ministry of Sports. Thus, nearly 3 000 guides were trained at the ENSA (National Ski and Mountaineering School) in Chamonix. Holidaymakers will find a wealth of good addresses, while others will be able to learn about training and the profession of a high mountain guide. In addition, the association's website offers free download of Guides magazine, with many interesting articles and topics on the mountain and the profession (portfolio, travel, maintenance, environment file, information on symposiums…).
