AIX-LES-BAINS MINERAL WATER COMPANY
A company based in Grésy-sur-Aix that collects, packages and markets mineral water.
Aix-les-Bains water, emblematic of the spa town, was discovered in 1848 and officially classified as a natural mineral water by the French Ministry of Health in 1906. Its reputation rests on its exceptional purity, lightness and balance of calcium and magnesium. The water comes from a depth of 500 meters, after a 70-year journey through the rock layers. Since 1986, the Société des Eaux d'Aix-les-Bains (SEAB), currently managed by Philippe Germaneau, has been responsible for marketing the water. Every year, 26 million bottles are produced at a modern plant in Grésy-sur-Aix, near the Raphy Saint-Simon spring, named after its first owner. Aix-les-Bains water can also be found in many local establishments, including restaurants, bars and local grocery stores. It is available in a variety of bottle formats made from 100% recycled plastic, highlighting its clarity and origins, including the 75 cl bottle, designed for the restaurant trade, which is distinguished by its elegant triangular shape and its environmentally-friendly material, polyethylene terephthalate. Recognized for its low sodium content and "Savoie Mont-Blanc Sélection" certification, this water is suitable for all diets. It is also available in atomizer form, offering its soothing, moisturizing and refreshing properties in 75, 150 or 400 ml containers.
