ÉGLISE SAINT-ANDRÉ
Church located in the village of Doucy, a remarkable religious building that is part of the Chemins du baroque in La Léchère.
Until the mid-15th century, this church was under the authority of Saint-Gilles-de-Verrès, nestling peacefully in the heart of the Aosta Valley. In the 18th century, its history took a major artistic turn thanks to the Artari brothers. Their creativity breathed new life into the building, adding a dazzling fresco featuring the four evangelists magnificently accompanied by prophets. Finally, the side aisles, silent witnesses to the passage of time, are also home to paintings by the genius of Jacques Clérant and an anonymous artist.
