Restaurant with terrace on the edge of the lake of Bourget elaborating a seasonal and quality cooking.

This former fisherman's house, now a restaurant, is located right on the lake. Since its beginnings, its prestige has been based on its fresh fish and crispy fried fish. It stands out for its unwavering commitment to quality. On the menu, you'll find fillets of perch meunière served with a light lemon cream, home fries and vegetables of the moment, as well as hake aioli with pesto or French veal entrecôte with a creamy green pepper sauce, gratin dauphinois and seasonal vegetables. A fine address.

Avant de donner mon avis, j'ai voulu renouveler une expérience assez heureuse, la semaine précédente:une bonne "friture du lac"encore qu'un peu de sauce tartare aurait été la bienvenue, et une "tête de veau" indigérable parce qu'insuffisamment cuite dans un bouillon insipide ( le bouquet garni doit être inconnu)de même pour les légumes à peine cuits.
Et pour tenter de digérer, une glace citron à 4,10 € LA boule
Décevant, très décevant... je n'irai plus !
A kitchen much lower than you might expect given rates menus: cold accompaniments, not quantities.
The service is slow, not very attentive: no water carafe at the beginning of meal, four bread slices for the meal (not fault in asking again)... Only frogs recorded (a little).
Refined cuisine, fresh, quality produce, homemade pastries, very good bread.
But not quantities: one has to claim a second children's menu complete the ham slice and anse fried first served.
For adults: a small slice of pike terrine served with the coast a curly salad leaves. Chicken with crayfish (a chicken legs, crayfish) served with a small rice bowl for 3 people.
Crockery most practical or not suitable for served dish.
While it rained on our table on the terrace, at any moment one offered to change table.
In short, the quality of the cuisine is spoiled by the bad presentation, not quantities and not very attentive service.
