CARTOTHÈQUE

Open to all, the University of Savoy's map offers more than 15 000 documents and 2 300 different titles, classified and inventoried. 110 m ² to work and study. Teachers, students, individuals, curious can come and consult them on site and cards can borrow on two documents for fifteen days.

This institution is part of the network of map with close to 2 000 antennas, the only place where so many cards are listed in both Savoie. It allows you to look at all the maps of the two departments, Ain, Isère, Haute-Alpes but also boards on Tibet or La Motte Beuvron. In tanks, the maps, dating from the 1970 s to the present, fall into topographic, geological, thematic and environmental supports (climate, vegetation…), major maps or environments and topographic layers, field surveys of former DDE, the Department of equipment. The funds are being digitized for free online access on the University Library website and on ODS, the national catalogue of university libraries.
