ÉGLISE SAINT-NICOLAS
Remarkable religious building which is part of the Chemins du baroque of the Facim Foundation in Aime-la-Plagne.
It is in Aime, the capital of Aime-la-Plagne, a town located at an average altitude of 700 m in Tarentaise, that the church of Saint-Nicolas is located. This remarkable religious building is part of the Facim Foundation's Baroque Paths®. It is first of all its imperial roof with successive lanterns and bulbs and its bell tower that attract our attention, but above all its predominantly green colour. Inside, the statues of Saint Bernard of the Alps and Saint Anthony, a canvas depicting Saint Agnes and Saint Agatha, the altarpiece of the Rosary, as well as the two bas-reliefs of the choir and on the pillars at the entrance to the choir, can be seen. It is difficult to be exhaustive, there is no shortage of interesting ornaments.
