LES ARTS JAILLISSANTS
A classical music festival in a tiny mountain village in Maurienne. Montsapey welcomes in his church of Saint-Barthélemy international artists. Initially this festival was founded to save and find funds to restore the religious building. His murals and neo-Gothic style altarpiece, a heritage monument classified as historic monument, are threatened. The Villermet brothers, deeply attached to this commune, had launched the idea. Since then, the twins always wear this event and enrich it from year to year. Every summer, they plan international talent. Recitals take place in the church punctuated by life and notes. An art exhibition invests in the town hall. Within a few days, this village, perched over 1 000 m above sea level, is colourful. The villagers meet artists and amateurs of beautiful music.
