CIRCUIT DE LA LOUIE BLANCHE PAR LE LAC DU RETOUR

On this circuit, the starting point is the Plan de l'Arc. The good walkers will be thrilled. After the village of Les Eucherts, at the entrance to the Plan de l'Arc, take the lower road and cross the leisure area. We then continue in the direction of Plan Pigeux to descend to Putétruit. There we turn left passing over the alpine chalets and cross the footbridge over the Moulins stream then climb towards Plan Pigeux. At this point we will start on the winding and steep path up to Lake Return. As you pass the Retour, you must continue straight ahead, pass not far from the lake, reach the Col du Retour, cross it and below you turn left at the junction. We will walk along the slope under the pointe des Couloureuses until we reach the Louïe Blanche. At the pass, go down the steep path towards the Combe des Moulins, pass in front of the engraved stone and, at the next intersection, turn left on the path that goes down. We will pass in front of the "captured spring" sign and we will have to go down the Fort chairlift and follow the road to the Plan de l'Arc.
