REGIONAL NATURE RESERVE LAC D'AIGUEBELETTE

The lake of Aiguebelette is a natural lake of mountains, situated about km from Chambéry, in the Savoyard region. In order to preserve the quality of its waters, motor vessels are prohibited. It is a site classified as natural area of ecological interest, faunistique and floristic, registered Natura 2000. It is also the first Natural Reserve of French Fresh Water. But it's also a tourist site. Beaches (pay access), camping and rental boats or fishing activities are possible. Its emerald colour, its panoramas and the temperature of the particularly pleasant water in summer are undeniable assets.
