ÉGLISE NOTRE-DAME
Religious monument distinguished by its rich altarpiece of two ornate columns framing a painting of the Nativity of the Virgin.
Notre-Dame-du-Pré is a mountain village in the Vanoise massif, in Tarentaise. Notre-Dame-du-Pré Church is one of the Baroque Paths® of the Facim Foundation. Built in 1647, this religious monument is distinguished by its major altarpiece with two ornate columns framing a painting of the Nativity of the Virgin, completed on either side by the statues of Saint Peter and Saint Paul. The rather neoclassical altarpiece of the Rosary and a painting of the Assumption, surrounded by statues of Saint Agatha and Saint Barbara, are also remarkable.
