Bissorte dam with a viewpoint, 545 m long, 63 m high and 49 m thick at its base, suitable for a walk.
The dam was commissioned in 1935. The structure, 545 m long, 63 m high and 49 m thick at its base, is not only spectacular as such, but it is also a stop or final point for a walk offering a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. This route is accessed via the Prec forest track. It is possible to combine the excursion with a night at the Refuge des Marches. Depending on the period, it is possible to fish in the 39 million m3 water reservoir.
