This chapel, classified as a historical monument, is part of the Chemins du baroque®, which brings together 80 buildings with free or guided access according to the Facim foundation. The Notre-Dame-des-Vernettes sanctuary, built between 1722 and 1727, is perched at an altitude of more than 1,800 metres at the foot of the Aiguille Grive (2,732 m), on the outskirts of the Plan-Peisey and Vallandry ski area. It has a plan centered around a dome topped by a circular lantern. The place is famous for its miraculous spring.
