12th century castle with park and guest rooms, which played an important role on the border of the French and English territories.
Erected in the 12th century as a military landmark, this building played an important role on the border between the French and English territories during the Middle Ages and especially during the Hundred Years' War. It was rebuilt in the 15th century, embellished in the 18th century and extended in the 19th century. It has always been occupied by the same family and has kept an exceptional interior decoration. In the salons, Les Malheurs de Sophie and a collection of toys are presented. The park of more than 6 hectares can be visited freely. The castle has five guest rooms.
