REFUGE D'ARBARÉTAN

The Arbarétan refuge, perched at 1,812 m, is unguarded. When you decide to sleep there, you must respect the uses and places: storage, cleanliness (and lowering your waste). The sleeping (of the mattresses) is spartan, you have to remember to take your " sac at viande " and your snack. Let us not forget that the refuge was originally a simple shepherd's hut, a shelter with the bare essentials. Over time, the refuges have been equipped to welcome hikers in the best conditions. This one thus remains close to the spirit of the refuges of yesteryear and it can also have a lot of charm in the context of a hike which wants to be really mountainous.
