BOUCLE DES CREUSATES

The Creusates loop starts in Saint-François-de-Sales, a village located in the Massif des Bauges regional natural park, in the territory of the Savoie Grand Revard resort. It is a loop on a marked path of about 1h30 of walk with a difference in altitude of 100 m. The peat bog is in a protected area and is also one of the remarkable sites registered under the Geopark Unesco des Bauges label since 2011. This peat bog is of significant botanical interest, hence its protection. It is therefore necessary to stay on the trails to avoid damaging these fragile and rare natural areas.
