Go there and contact
Chapel of the XIXth century offering a beautiful view, a mass is celebrated there for the Saint Mary in June, accompanied by a fair.
Overlooking the city, the Saint-Mary chapel was built in the 19th century on the site of a 10th century building built by the monks of the monastery. The chapel is closed all year round. For Saint Mary's day in June, a mass is celebrated, accompanied by a fair. Saint Mary, or Marius, was one of the first evangelizers of the Haute-Auvergne. His relics were brought to Mauriac by a countess of Apchon in the 11th century. There is a beautiful view over the whole surrounding region.
