This museum has been set up in the old prisons of the city, where it retains doors and bars to the windows. The prison itself was set up in 1812 in the former home of the deans of Saint-Pierre Monastery. The cells arched in the magnificent paving are all small open rooms in the summer to host contemporary art exhibitions. For once, don't hesitate to push the cachot door!
