Valerie and her husband and team run a lovely hotel.
The rooms are simple but clean, quiet and comfortable.
A meal in the restaurant is just a fantastic way to end your day. We had the fixed price/halfboard meal (which offers no choice) but we were delighted with the food every night. We also opted for the optional extra cheese course.... the offerings of which you would only ever find in an exceptional restaurant in UK.
The quality of the food here was SO far above any other meal we had in France during this trip.
We tried the house wines (by carafe) and several off the wine list... all great and great value.
The bar next door (part of the hotel) is a great place to relax after a day out.
When we paid the bill upon checking out, we all commented on what fantastic value the Half-Board stay is.
As we still have a few 'Cols' to climb in the area.... we WILL be back!
