OUR LADY OF GOOD NEWS CHAPEL
Located 1530 minutes walk on the heights of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, the chapel was built in the s on the location of an ancient oratory. Destroyed by a fire in 1628, it was rebuilt following the appearance of the Virgin Mary to Jean, a Saint-Jeannais who wished to wish for poverty and devoted his fortune to its reconstruction. In baroque style with ex-votos, the interior decor is of all beauty. On the way to this pilgrimage site, 3 oratorical in connection with Mary were built. An orientation table has been installed nearby and the view over the city and the valley is magnificent.
