The village of Saint-Julien-Mont-Denis is located a few kilometres upstream from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. Until 1982, there were slate quarries there, known for their very high quality, hence the presence of the slate path. Solid and imposing, the stone chalet, the grand Tétras, is located at the foot of the Croix des têtes limestone massif, which rises to 2,492 m, it is the highest limestone cliff in Europe...
