Museum with a collection of old radio sets, telephones and documents tracing the history of radio communications.
The museum celebrates the work of Roberto Clemens Galletti di Cadilhac, a pioneer of wireless telegraphy. In 1912, this Italian built a radio station in Champagneux that was so powerful it enabled exchanges with the Tuckerton station in the United States! The vagaries of history soon consigned this feat to oblivion, but the museum is working to bring it to light. The Radio-Musée Galletti houses a collection of antique radio sets, telephones, posters and documents, offering a captivating account of the history of radio communications.
